The unfortunate coup de grace comes in the form of a poorly resolved conclusion. All the other books I have listened to I enjoyed, that why I downloaded these two.Touted as the author's hardcover breakout novel (Hoag was the erstwhile bestselling star of Bantam's Loveswept romance series), this thriller, despite a compelling premise and several intriguing characters, ultimately disappoints. I think these two book were written to meet her publisher quota. If it would have I would not have wasted a credit on it. Mad Mad Mad, yes I probably should have read the reviews, and would have found out that this book was two parts. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment? Yes Guilty as Sin which I think she was either sick or being threaten to read

Would you ever listen to anything by Tami Hoag again? I am not a prude but I think it is laziness on the author part when sex is used as a filler Which I stopped listening to after the 4rth book because of contious sex between main characters. How many ways does the sex need to be written? Thought I was reading J B Robb.
